Embedding Live Shows

There are two choices in embedding live shows: Embedding with Watch Now button, or displaying the live show directly. While the method of embedding both choices is the same, the outputs are different.

1. Embedding with Watch Now button.

When you use this embed code onto your landing page, viewers will see a Watch Now button.

If your live show has started, clicking on the Watch Now button will open the live show player with the chat and products section. If your live show has ended and was saved, viewers will be able to watch the recording as well.

If your live show has not started yet, it will show the pre-stream cover image upon clicking the Watch Now button. If your live show has ended but the recording was not saved, the placeholder image will be shown.

How the live player looks like with just the pre-stream cover image or placeholder image.

If your live show has been deleted but is still embedded on your landing page, viewers will see the default placeholder image upon clicking the Watch Now button.

2. Embedding Directly with no Watch Now button.

When you use this embed code on your landing page, what the viewer will see in the different situations is the same as described above.

However, the viewers will not have to click a Watch Now button to open the player. Instead, the live show player will be displayed directly on your landing page. The desktop web view will take on the UI style of the mobile web view.

info

Each live show will have its own embed code. If you want to use only one embed code for multiple live shows, you can create Show Lineups.
